I Love the Internet! Now on the Internet! Check it out!

Hey there! So my latest film “I Love the Internet” is now online for your HD viewing pleasure! Please check it out and let me know what you guys think! Feedback is always welcome.

The film is a critique on our modern societies lack of the ability for moderation with technology. Ryan, a 22 year old boy is living with a problem that he has yet to see for himself. Will he overcome his addictions or fall further down the rabbit hole?

I worked really hard on this project so I’m more than happy that it’s finally finished. It’s only 14minutes so go CLICK HERE and Enjoy!

Hard at work. Check this out!

Hey there! I’ve been hard at work with the last two weeks of school, specifically on 2 video projects and 1 major photo project. I think everyone is really going to like the way they come out. Anyways, check out the video above, it’s rough cut of an ‘act 2′ for a piece by my good friend John DiMarco. He’s working toward a video thesis for his BFA here at Mason Gross as well and it’s coming out fantastic. I did camerawork and cinemotgraphy and he wrote and directed a terrific script and treatment. Let him know what you guys think!

iLOVETHEINTERNET v2 coming soon!

Poster for my upcoming film iLOVETHEINTERNET v2

After much criticism for my first version that realistically fell flat in my opinion from time constraints, I have been developing a completely new film from scratch, using some of the initial ideas to form a narrative that critiques our societies obsession with tech. Here’s the synopsis:

Ryan is a twenty-two year old boy with a love for technology, however his love is an addiction. The film is presented to the audience spliced between a video diary and mockumentary style. After initially struggling to accept that his addiction has become too intense, he will have to decide how to recalibrate his lifestyle or else abandon it all together.

The film will be released in early December for online screening. I hope you check it out once it’s up!

Busy, busy, busy

School has started again, so I have been super busy. Been working on scanning a lot of my old negatives so that I can clean them up and show them to the world via my online portfolio. Speaking of which, the website is finally launched ThePowerSymbol.com, check it out when you get the chance, I’d love some feedback!

Threw a couple recent pieces up on Flickr too, so be sure to check those out! Here’s an example of one of my 35mm Young Wizard film photos that I never uploaded.

Relaunch of website almost complete!

Well after a lot of archiving (and much still left to do), my website portfolio seems to be getting closer to a finished relaunch.

Would love for everyone to see my entire portfolio online with just a click of the mouse. Some of the trouble is coming from my organizational skills lacking for some of the older material, especially videos. Everything should be ready by the end of the week!

More updates to come.
